Don't forget when officials in Los Angeles decided to do mass deportations in the 1930s, they went ahead and rounded up people who had been born and raised in the US.

I wonder what documents the deportation police will use to prove that the undocumented don't have documents?

Thanks for this, it was great; and depressing all at once.

I am kind of feeling like that about the inception of Thanksgiving too, but it's nice to know here we are all in this together -and you are doing so many good things, Louis. Proud to know you and tell your wife I still have not met hi, I am still happy to meet for coffee anytime. :)

Thanks Michelle! Yeah, "great and depressing" is the new "very demure, very mindful". ugh. Oh well. We'll get through it together (?). I will definitely pass on you hi to Grace, she's been just so busy these last couple months, but I know she'd love to be reminded of coffee.

I guess I'll have to start carrying a naturalized American citizen on my shoulders so he / she can reach the top branches when I go to Indian Ladder Farms in September.
